What Can I Say? I Like Twos.

2-2-08 is a holiday in our household. But it's not Groundhog's Day. It's mine and my husband's 2nd wedding anniversary. I can't believe it's been two years since that amazing day.

After a year-long engagement, by the time of my wedding day, I was ready. Planning a wedding is stressful, exhausting, and isn't exactly easy on a relationship, but the entire day was so perfect. It was so worth it. The day was gorgeous. Honestly, it could have been an outdoor wedding. In the middle of winter.

I didn't see my husband until I walked down the aisle. It was a short and sweet ceremony. We walked out to a sea of bubbles. The reception was FUN. All of our friends and families helped us celebrate. We even moved the party to our favorite bar where we went from "just friends" to "more than friends." We stayed up until 4 a.m. opening all our cards and then presents in our hotel room, because we were too excited to sleep.

A couple weeks later we had our honeymoon in Las Vegas and brought home a souvenir honeymoon baby. Too much information? Haha!!

Anyways, I just want to wish my husband Happy Anniversary! I love him so much and I can't wait to see what Year Three has in store for us.

  1. Today is my anniv as well. My birthday is April Fools and my husbands is St. Pattys so Groundhog Day seemed the obvious choice for us!

  2. Happy Anniversary! What a fun way to remember.

And, what a great honeymoon souvenir.

  3. happy anniversary heather! my husband and i just celebrated our 36th in december. he's my best friend! wishing you many many years of happiness!

  4. A little late, but Happy Anniversary and wishes for many, many more!
