Oompa Review and Giveaway

"NO BATTERIES. NO BLINKING LIGHTS. NO CARTOON-THEMED TOYS. PERIOD."

I absolutely love the story behind Oompa Toys. Maybe because it's so familiar. Early one morning, a mother tip-toeing through her infant's room crashes into a toy that instantly come alive with barnyard sounds. She decided then that her daughter needed more toys that would encourage her to use her imagination, and Oompa Toys was born. They now carry toys, baby gear, and furniture that are not only natural, safe, and lasting, but also made in safe environments, and not through child labor. I often pick a few of my favorite items to "showcase" at the beginning of each post, but honestly, it was torture to pick ONLY six items that could describe Oompa Toys. I couldn't even scratch the surface, so I insist that you look for yourself. There are so many toys that I had never seen before that I have put instantly onto our Birthday/Christmas Wish List, because Max HAS to have them. :o)
Oompa Toys sent me the Two Goblins Wardrobe Pegs from Bajo. I'm not sure why I was drawn to these little goblins, but I think they are adorable. At first I had assumed the goblins were two separate pieces, but actually they are one. I love the bright colors, and I just think they are fun. They are twice as cute in person. The Goblin Pegs, from what I can tell, are sturdy and durable, and painted with child-safe, non-toxic lacquers. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of the Goblins on my wall, because the nails I used wouldn't hold them up (see? sturdy wood!) so I need to use screws. I can't wait to put them up at Max's level so he can practice hanging up his own coat. Yeah, right. Ha!

One lucky Mommy Loves Giveaways reader will win the same Goblin Wardrobe Pegs I reviewed!!
