You know, it's almost that time of year when the Christmas greetings start rolling into your mailbox. I love when my box is filled with brightly colored envelopes, instead of the usual bills. I enjoy opening up each card that a dear friend or family member sent to my family, and the photo cards are my very favorite. You know the ones with the gorgeous photos of those smiling faces you love the most. When I started a family, I knew I wanted to send out those same gorgeous cards, not the generic ones you buy in the store. But, ohmyGAH! Have you been to a professional photographer who offers amazing "deals" on cards? You get like 12 cards for 35 dollars. What?! Who can afford that?? Let me tell you, you can still have those amazing cards to send out without taking out a loan. Have a friend take pictures of your family, or learn how to use the timer button, and just have fun with your favorites! Trust me, you think it's going to be impossible, but digital cameras are amazing because they have that little erase button, so you have unlimited tries. Even if you take hundreds of shots, you are bound to get one gem. So now that you have your favorite pictures (or pictures) the really hard part start. Choosing this year's Christmas card.
Shutterfly.com has lots and lots (and lots) of amazing cards that can take you amateur picture and make a professional holiday card. Seriously, these cards are stunning. This Peppermint Pink Christmas Card is in first place so far, my my family's card. I LOVE the pinks. (Goes well with the blog, doesn't it??) Good luck picking out only ONE card. (Well, who says you only have to have one card.....)
