Wholesale Halloween Costumes Review

Yes, I realize it's "only" August, but I'm having a baby in 5 weeks, so that means I have to think ahead about a lot of things. And I've lately, with this AWFUL heat, I've been thinking about fall weather, and Halloween. Max had so much fun last Halloween, and each year, as he gets a little older, he really begins to understand what's going on, and gets so excited about these things. I was actually pretty shocked the last couple of years while looking for Halloween Costumes to discover how expensive they can be! Luckily, we live in the age of internet, so you can always find a better selection and a better price online.

This year, Wholesale Halloween Costumes let me browse through their toddler costumes and pick one out for Max. I decided that this year, Max would be old enough to pick his own costume, even though I could have probably squeezed out one more year of picking something oh-so-cute. But, I'm glad I let him, because you shoud have seen his face when I pulled out his muscle chest superman costume! He is in a bigtime superhero phase right now, and he was so excited, he could hardly stand it!

We tried it on right away and Max LOVED it! The fit was pretty good, but I felt the muscles were a little awkward. He kept pulling them down out of his chin/face, but it does look ridiculously cute, and he didn't seem to mind. I thought the quality seemed good for the price, but the cape broke (one part of the velcro pulled off) after less than 30 minutes. It's an easy fix though. I'm pretty excited to find something that Max is ecstactic about, and won't hurt my wallet too bad. Now just to find a costume for baby girl, who will be about 7 weeks old... Any ideas?

What's your child going to dress up as?

Disclaimer:  I was not paid any money for this review, but I was provided a free costume. All opinions are 100% my own.

  1. My Little Bryan's birthday is on Halloween, so we always try to do it up big! The last couple of Halloween's he's been Yoshi and Luigi, LOL! This year he's wanting to be R2D2... and I'm hoping he'll change his mind! Gotta find something affordable and easy!
Your baby girl? I LOVE the pea pod costume... seen it before. Anything snug and cozy would work.
