World Vision Review & Giveaway

'Tis the Season!! It's my favorite time of the year! I love everything about the Holidays, and now that I have my kids, it's even more exciting - from shopping for gifts they will love to starting new traditions for our little family. As a mom, I'm concerned with teaching my children the true meaning of Christmas, and I hope that they won't get too caught up in what kind of gifts they are going to get.

I'm thrilled to talk to you about World Vision. This company is amazing - they truly embody the Christmas spirit, and you can give someone the gift of giving. World Vision is a Christian charitable organization that offers more than 250 gifts that can be purchased in the name of a loved-one that helps men, women, and children in need. For example, you can give the gift of a goat and two chickens - with these animals, a family can get milk, eggs, cheese and yogurt, or sell offspring to make extra money.

You can also help by donating towards clothing, clean water, education, school supplies, medical care, and more. They even have a fun for helping children in the United States.

If you are looking for something tangible that still helps out, consider the Maximum Impact Fund, which offers amazing handcrafted products - from jewelry, scarves, coffee and more.

I received this Artisan Multi-colored Necklace, and it took my breath away. It's one long strand, but it's not connected, so you can wear it as a one or two strand necklace, multi-strand bracelet, or even a belt. I love the colorful glass bead and semi-precious stones. Best of all, the money gifted through this particular item helps fight human trafficking.

Ready for some more good news? One lucky MLG reader will win an Artisan Multi-colored Necklace too! To be entered, just visit the World Vision website and tell me one gift you think is amazing. (required entry)

Extra entries:

Fine print: Open to US residents, 18 and older. Giveaway ends December 10, 2011 at midnight. This is not a paid post. I did receive the product mentioned above, but the opinions are 100% my own.

  16. I watched the video. It is so nice you can order online and help a family in need to not only have an animal to provide food, but also to sell milk and cheese to others around them.
